Former Tidelander, longtime barbershopper, World War II veteran and great story teller, Buster Barlow, passed away Oct. 29th in Tyler at the age of 93.  He was in the Tidelanders when they won their silver medal many years ago.  Buster shared his love for barbershop with everyone he met and thru the years received 26 Men of Note.  He was my good friend and I will miss him.  He was still on the risers singing until the last year or so.

His memorial service will be 2pm, Saturday, Nov. 18th in the chapel of Green Acres Baptist Church, 1607 Troup Hwy, Tyler, TX 75771.  His chorus, The East Texas Men In Harmony, will sing during the service.

Condolences may be sent to his loving wife, Jean, at 1215 Barbara St., Tyler, TX. 75701.
