On Tuesday night April 23, the Arlington Goodtimes Chorus was invited by Mayor Jeff Williams to perform for the Arlington City Council at City Hall. This was in honor of National Barbershop Quartet Day. Councilwoman Roxanne Thalman read the proclamation, declaring that the city of Arlington honors National Barbershop Quartet Day, and presented the proclamation to chapter president David Weick. The Goodtimes Chorus began with the National Anthem, and ended with a rousing version of "I'm Feelin Fine".

The chorus was well received by the overflow crowd at City Hall, and looks forward to making this an annual event with the Arlington City Council.
