MEMORIAL DAY 2017

The Twin Mountain Tonesmen were honored to participate in three separate occasions honoring the memory of the fallen this Memorial Day.
The re-dedication of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, marking a refurbishing of the UH-1 Huey Helicopter and 20 years of service for the memorial, was the first ceremony.

The traditional laying of wreathes honoring the fallen from different branches of the military at the foot of the Veterans Memorial on the grounds of the Tom Green County Courthouse was next.

Then, on to Sierra Vista United Methodist Church to sing with the San Angelo Community Chorale and San Angelo Community Band as they marked the day with patriotic medleys to a packed house.

The photos presented here are not just of the Tonesmen, but scenes from the ceremonies to help illustrate the reverent tone we were honored to be a part of. It speaks to the Tonesmen's reputation that we represent San Angelo in a positive way that makes us the go-to organization when needed.
