Due to the popularity of the 2014 Las Vegas convention and the fact that there was an overwhelming amount of CBQC competitors in Toronto for the 2013 Convention, the BHS is being very careful with how many competitors qualify for the International Competition in Las Vegas next July. Therefore, the Society Board recently voted to increase the qualifying score to 73. Additionally, the Society Board wanted to align the CBQC rules with the most recent C&J rule allowing international competitors to replace one quartet member between their preliminary qualification and international.
Any SWD college quartets are eligible to qualify for international at your fall convention, or they can sing out of district in the Spring. Please click the link below for important information about Collegiate Barbershop Quartets involved in BHS Contests.
