2018 Southwestern District Spring Convention - May 3-5
The 2018 Southwestern District Spring Convention will bring together quartets and choruses from the five-state area. Below are the competitions taking place:

- District Senior Quartet Champion
- District Youth Quartet Champion
- Division Novice Quartet Champions (4 Divisions)
- Mixed Quartets (not sure if this will be MBHA or not at this time)

Chorus
- Small Chorus Champion - (23 on stage, less director, winner must lay out 1 year, not eligible if competing at International)
- District Qualifier - (4 highest scoring choruses at Spring contest are invited to the District contest. The 8 highest scoring choruses from the fall contest were already invited)
- Audience Favorite - (12 min show package, may include contestable songs which must be specified in advance of contest)
- The following choruses have qualified for the 2018 Fall District contest based on their placement last fall:

- Oklahoma City, OK
